Northrop Provide Navigation and Main Control NEUROn

Northrop Grumman, together with Saab Aerosystems, has been supplying the attitude and heading reference system (AHRS) for unmanned combat air vehicle (UCAV) demonstrator nEUROn. nEUROn now has completed more than 100 test flights in Sweden, Italy and France.
In an announcement March 7, 2016. Northrop Grumman LITEF, its German subsidiary, providing fiber-optic, gyro-compassing LCR-100 AHRS. LCR-100 has been developed in accordance with the standards of DO-254 and DO-178 certification namely Technical Standard Order / European Technical Standard Order.
LCR-100 provides a hybrid inertial and Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) GNSS navigation information through a separate unit, as well as the main flight control information to the flight control system nEUROn.
Dassault Aviation is the prime contractor for nEUROn UCAV demonstrator. According to Dassault, the LCR-100 has proven ability to provide accurate and reliable in all nEUROn flight test campaign.
NEUROn program led by France and including industry partners and the government of Switzerland, Sweden, Spain, Italy and Greece. The program aims to develop, test and maintain the technology to be used by fighter aircraft and UAV manufacturers new generation in Europe.
